4-Year Online High School

Standard Program Overview

Students meet program requirements by successfully completing 24 credit hours in specified subject areas. After successfully completing all program requirements, students recieve an official transcript and letter of completion.

  • Recommends that applicants be at least 14 years old
  • Offers a robust traditional high school curriculum
  • Satisfies the basic high school requirements for admission to most colleges
  • Requires completion of at least three courses every six months (an extension may be granted if extenuating circumstances arise)
  • Helps students prepare to take the ACT or SAT
  • Requires that students complete a minimum of 3.0 BYU Independent Study credit hours, regardless of the number of credits earned at other schools
