BYU IS High School Programs

Our 4-year online high school programs can be a perfect fit for students who cannot or do not wish to participate in a traditional high school. Zach found that the Advanced Program met his needs while being in a traveling military family.

Zach is a recipient of the Monson Scholarship: the most prestigous academic scholarship BYU has to offer.

  • Robust traditional high school curriculum
  • 24 credits required to complete the program
  • Requires completion of Fine Arts and Career/Technical Education credit
  • Grants an official high school transcript and letter of completion upon finishing the program
  • More academically rigorous alternative to the Standard Program
  • 24 credits required to complete the program
  • Allows for concurrent/dual enrollment for both high school and college credit
  • Requires completion of two years of a world language
  • Requires completion of higher-level math, science, and english courses, as well as writing and literature courses
  • Grants an official high school transcript and letter of completion upon finishing the program
  • Similar to the Standard Program
  • 24 credits required to complete the program
  • Requirest students to be at least 19 years old to apply
  • Requires the student to pass a basic skills assessment test (TABE)
  • Grants an official high school transcript, letter of completion, and high school disploma from the Provo (Utah) School District
