Learning Outcomes

  1. Improve your understanding and appreciation for the cultures and people of Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
  2. Explain both the positive and negative influences of colonization in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
  3. Identify and explain the key religions of Africa, the Middle East, and Asia.
  4. Explain how poor leadership hinders the progress of a country, using newly independent countries in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia as examples.
  5. Appreciate a thorough study of history by completing the different exercises included with each unit (history is a lot more that just reading material and taking tests on that material).

8 computer-graded assignments, and 1 self-evaluation; may be resubmitted once for a fee.

Exams

1 proctored computer-graded exam, may retake once for a fee, must pass to earn credit for the course.

Course Duration

You have 1 year to complete this course, but if you need more than a year, you may purchase one 3-month extension. Because of the nature of some assignments, you will not be able to complete this course in less than 2 months.
