Prerequisite:

MATH 097 (Intermediate Algebra) or equivalent skill. (Please take this placement test to determine if you have the math skills required for MATH 110. The placement test can also be found in the course syllabus.)
Note: We strongly recommend that you complete the first exam within 60 days of when you register. This is to allow you the option (if you do not pass the pretest) of withdrawing from MATH 110 and enrolling in MATH 097 for a refund (minus the withdrawal fee and the cost of MATH 097).

Description:

Functions, polynomials, theory of equations, exponential and logarithmic functions, matrices, determinants, systems of linear equations, permutations, combinations, binomial theorem.

Unit 2: Techniques and Theorems
Unit 3: Logarithms and Exponents
Unit 4: Sequences, Series, and Systems of Equations
Unit 5: Counting Probability and Binomial Theorem
