Description:This course includes learning to use mathematics to solve problems on the job; learning to use a calculator; estimating; measuring; using graphs, charts, and tables; and working with data, lines, and angles. This course features a math lab, where extra practice and instruction are given in an interactive lab setting. This is the first course in a two-part Applied Math series (MATH 047 and MATH 049).
